Cookie Policy

Last updated: 14 February 2026

This Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on novalinar.com, their purpose and how you can manage your preferences at any time through our consent banner integrated with Google Consent Mode v2.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device when you visit them. They are used to keep the site working, remember your preferences, measure performance and tailor content to your interests.

2. Categories we use

We use four categories: essential (indispensable to make the site work), analytics (to understand usage and improve the experience), advertising (to measure campaigns and relevant content) and personalization (to remember preferences such as language).

3. Google Consent Mode v2

We implement Google Consent Mode v2 with default parameters set to 'denied'. No analytics or advertising script uses cookies before your decision. If you accept, we update the consent (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage) and notify the change to the dataLayer via the cookie_consent_update event.

4. Managing preferences

You can accept, reject or customise your choice from the banner when entering the site. If you clear your browser cookies or cache, the banner will reappear so you can update your decision.

5. Third-party cookies

When you accept analytics or advertising, we load Google scripts (Google Ads and, where applicable, Google Analytics). These providers may set their own cookies subject to their own policies.

6. Retention

The lifetime of each cookie varies: essential ones expire at the end of the session, while analytics and advertising cookies may persist for up to 13 months, unless you delete them manually.

7. Updates

We may modify this Cookie Policy to reflect technical, legal or provider changes. The current version will always be available on this page with its last revision date.
